SolutionGeotubes are large-scale containers made of woven geotextile fabric that retain sediment inside while water passes through the walls, providing dewatered soil for subsequent transportation and disposal.
The geotube is filled with sludge, after which dewatering takes place – water is filtered through the container walls by gravity, while the sludge remains inside. Dewatering significantly facilitates drying the sludge inside the container and transporting it to a municipal solid waste landfill.
