Hydromat — a rolled geocomposite drainage mat consisting of a load-bearing layer and a covering layer. The load-bearing layer is a three-dimensional mesh with polymer rods arranged in a diamond pattern across three planes. The covering layer is a synthetic nonwoven material (geotextile) and/or geomembrane.
The material is designed to collect and drain surface water and groundwater in transport (airfields, motorways and railways), hydraulic engineering, land reclamation, landscaping, environmental and other areas of construction.
At «ТЕХПОЛИМЕР», you can buy Hydromat in several grades:
- 2D — a drainage mat with a geotextile covering on one side
- 3D — a drainage mat with a geotextile covering on both sides
- 3D/M — a drainage mat with a geotextile covering on both sides and a geomembrane layer on one side
- 3D/M Arctic — a drainage mat with a geotextile covering on both sides and a white geomembrane layer on one side. Specifically designed for the Far North and Arctic regions.
The primary purpose of Hydromat is drainage and water disposal. In terms of water permeability, the material is comparable to a 15-centimetre layer of crushed stone. At the same time, the thickness of Hydromat 2D under a load of 2 kPa is 8 mm.
- One roll replaces 25 tonnes of crushed stone
- Retains its properties under high loads
- Reduces costs for soil excavation and crushed stone installation
- Easy to install without construction equipment
- Resistant to aggressive substances
- Environmentally friendly
- Operating temperature range from minus 60 °C to plus 60 °C.
An ideal solution for construction work involving the installation of basal drainage for roads and railways, municipal solid waste landfills, main pipelines, airfields and hydraulic fill sites, as well as for reinforcing embankment slopes, natural slopes, excavations and trenches — the material protects soil from erosion and weathering.
- Drainage and water discharge systems for roads, tunnels, and underground parts of buildings and structures
- Erosion protection for slopes and embankments
- Capillary break layer
- Reduction of frost heave
- Deep drainage
- Basal gas venting during the reclamation of dumps and landfills
- Control of temperature and moisture conditions during construction in complex engineering and geological conditions
- Seepage barrier for hydraulic structures of Classes I–IV, municipal solid waste and production waste landfills, and hazardous chemical waste storage facilities
- Protective barrier for heap leaching sites and facilities for storing petroleum products and drilling fluids
- Waterproofing of roofs in service
