Three-dimensional synthetic geogrid consisting of polymer strips joined in a staggered pattern by ultrasonic welding.
Geocell

A geocell is a honeycomb structure made of polymer strips bonded together in a staggered pattern using ultrasonic welding. When expanded, it forms a three-dimensional cellular structure designed to contain infill materials (soil, sand, crushed stone, etc.).

We supply material with high corrosion resistance, low susceptibility to damage and a service life of 50 years or more. We handle the entire range of works — from design to installation and commissioning.

Advantages
  • Complies with GOST R 56338-2015
  • Higher load-bearing capacity due to consolidation of backfill soil
  • Seam strength of at least 85% of the strip strength
  • Improves the drainage properties of backfill soil
  • Increases resistance to dynamic loads
  • Reduces construction costs and increases structural reliability
  • Does not require complex road construction equipment
  • Low susceptibility to damage
  • High anti-corrosion properties
  • Service life of up to 50 years
  • Operating temperature range from minus 60 °С to plus 60 °С

Applications
  • Reinforcement of road embankments in road construction
  • Reinforcement of the sub-ballast layer of railway embankments
  • Stabilisation of highway slopes and securing of steep slopes
  • Strengthening of weak foundations
  • Anti-erosion and seismic protection of slopes and cones at overhead crossings of oil and gas pipelines
  • Stabilisation of railway track cone slopes
  • Construction of winter roads
  • Replacement of log matting
  • Strengthening of surface drainage structures
  • Strengthening of the banks of water bodies and watercourses
  • Construction of retaining walls
  • Elimination of erosion and washout areas
  • Landscaping and lawn greening works

5 Reasons to Buy a 3D Geogrid

1. Versatile application. The geogrid secures the fill material when reinforcing the slopes of an embankment. The fill material may consist of soil, sand, crushed stone, concrete and other materials.
2. Flexible material. Polymer sheets follow the surface profile, providing a drainage channel when reinforcing a slope.
3. Increased soil bearing capacity. The geogrid cells and fill material form a single structure, increasing the soil's bearing capacity and preventing the fill material from moving.
4. Cost savings. A three-dimensional geogrid —is one of the most affordable methods of slope reinforcement in terms of material and installation costs.
5. Easy installation. Road construction equipment is not required to install a three-dimensional geogrid.

Three-dimensional geogrid from the manufacturer

We supply the «ТЕХПОЛИМЕР» geogrid in various heights (from 50 to 200 mm) and cell sizes (from 115*115 to 300*300 mm). We produce volumetric geogrids with perforation and in the conventional version; by agreement with the customer, we manufacture materials in non-standard sizes.

The price of a volumetric geogrid depends on its type, size and supply volume. We ship products in any volume throughout Russia and beyond its borders.
