Pressure pipes are products manufactured from low-pressure polyethylene using composite extrusion. Polymer products are an excellent alternative to metal and other equivalents, outperforming them in most performance characteristics.
- Corrosion resistance
- Guaranteed service life of at least 50 years (when used in cold water supply and sewerage networks in accordance with GOST 18599-2001)
- Sanitary, hygienic and environmental safety
- Low roughness coefficient and low rate of pipe scaling
- High resistance to hydroabrasive wear
- High chemical resistance; resistance to water hammer; resistance to stray currents (non-conductive)
- Ease of installation. Plastic pipes are lightweight, easy to cut and have several connection options, making it possible to work with them without special skills
- Easy transportation
- Strength of welded joints exceeding the strength of the pipes themselves
- High repairability; flexibility—preservation of pipe integrity at low temperatures and when ice plugs form, as well as in the event of building settlement.
- Installation and repair of pressurised water pipelines carrying drinking and domestic water
- For pressurised transport of any liquids that do not react with polyethylene
- Installation of pressurised sewer networks
- Use as a protective screen when installing cable, telephone and fibre-optic networks
- For hydraulic transport of sand, slurry and other process mixtures
