  • Task

Protection of the walls of a reinforced-concrete containment bund for a sulfuric acid tank at a sulfuric acid production facility. Weight of the filled tank – 12,000 tonnes.

    Solution

Lining of a reinforced concrete structure with V-LOCK anchor sheet.

The specially designed V-shaped form of the polymer sheet anchors is produced by extrusion during manufacturing, providing exceptional strength of the anchoring system. The anchors ensure optimal stress distribution and preserve the concrete structure even under significant temperature and pressure fluctuations.

The anchor sheet seams are joined by extrusion welding, forming a continuous waterproofing surface and ensuring complete watertightness.

The anchor sheet has a high level of resistance to sulphuric acid, hydrochloric acid and other chemicals.

    Technology Advantages
    • Complete watertightness
    • Resistance to aggressive environments
    • High mechanical strength
    • Ease of design and installation
    • No maintenance required
    • Service life of the lined tank: at least 50 years
