    Preventing excess moisture in the soil of a military airfield runway embankment 

    Solution

    Installation of a seepage control barrier made of geomembrane type 5/1 to ensure complete waterproofing and reduce moisture in the embankment soil. 

    The geomembrane waterproofing, installed on a levelled and compacted base, protects the embankment from moisture penetration and helps extend the service life of the entire structure between repairs.
