Project Description
The work site is located in the south-eastern part of the Republic of Buryatia, within Tunkinsky District.
The beginning of the section, PK0+0.00, is located on the axis of the existing A-333 motorway and corresponds to existing km 210+000 and design km 207+931. The end of the section, PK65+04, corresponds to existing km 216+500 and design km 214+435. The total route length is 6.504 km.
According to the design brief and the results of the technical and economic surveys conducted, the road category for the section under consideration is IV, with two traffic lanes
Technical SolutionsBased on the results of engineering and geological surveys, in order to drain water and lower the groundwater level due to the identification of waterlogged subgrade soils, marshy areas and a high groundwater level, the design documentation provides for the installation of a deep drainage system on the uphill side of the slope, using «БлокТех» modules wrapped in nonwoven geotextile.

In addition, to convey water from the longitudinal drainage system, a transverse deep drainage system using «БлокТех» modules wrapped in nonwoven geotextile is provided at 50 m intervals. The longitudinal drainage system includes inspection chambers made of «БлокТех» modules wrapped in nonwoven geotextile. Drainage systems must be installed during periods of below-zero average daily temperatures to prevent possible thawing of permafrost soils.
