Chelyabinsk Experience: Eco-Friendly SMART Solution for Constructing Temporary Access Roads from MDP Slabs

During the project “Restoration and Environmental Rehabilitation of the Miass River within the City of Chelyabinsk”, the contractor BMT-Service LLC purchased MDP “TEKHПOLYMER-2” mobile road coverings (TU 22.21.30-009-56910145-2016) for constructing temporary access roads and work platforms on weak soils.

• Lightweight polymer panels with steel interlocking connections around the perimeter
• Resistant to loads from heavy-duty machinery
• Can be used at new facilities after completion of the works

• Ground protection – prevention of rutting.
• Safety – prevention of accidents caused by road contamination when machinery leaves the work area for public roads. Machinery wheels remain clean without using a car wash (preventing the risk of fines).
• Reduced site preparation time.
• Reduced material logistics costs. A standard Eurotrucker transports 45 slabs with a total area of 540 m2.
• Preservation of the vegetation and fertile topsoil layer in the work area.
