Construction of the new Malinki municipal solid waste landfill

Creation of a waterproofing system for the base of a new municipal solid waste storage site to protect soil and groundwater from landfill leachate leakage.

Three-layer waterproofing system «ТЕХПОЛИМЕР»: a lower duplicate waterproofing layer was installed on the prepared base — bentonite mat «Бентотех» grade АСЛ. The main waterproofing function is performed by geomembrane «ТЕХПОЛИМЕР» type 4/2 — installed over «Бентотех». The third layer is a drainage layer made of drainage mat «Гидромат 3D/М» with a protective geotextile layer. The final stage involves backfilling the protective layer with soil around the entire perimeter of the base.
