Reconstruction of the Runway at Khabarovsk Airport

Application of a stitch-bonded geogrid made of high-strength polyester yarns «Армосет П» as a reinforcing element for roadbed soils and base layers of runway pavement. The material improves the pavement’s performance characteristics and extends its service life. 

A flat geogrid made of high-strength composite strips welded together at their intersections is also used for reinforcement – Георешётка РД. High-strength nonwoven geotextile prevents the intermixing of contacting pavement structure layers, provides drainage, and retains its properties under temperature fluctuations.
