Solution
- Reprofiling the landfill body and flattening the slopes. To prevent landfill leachate from entering groundwater, a cut-off sheet-pile wall is installed around the landfill perimeter and embedded into the aquiclude, using profiled PVC geosheet piles “TechPolymer”
- Installation of a protective landfill cover made of geosynthetic materials (“Geomembrane Type 4/2”, bentonite mat “Bentotech”, “RD Geogrid”)
- Installation of a leachate drainage, collection and discharge system, and installation of a leachate storage tank
- Installation of lower and upper protective covers made of geosynthetic mineral materials
- Installation of a degassing system
- Site improvement and landscaping.
