Moksha Riverbank Reinforcement Using Geoshpunt and Anchor Ties

Protection of the riverbank against erosion and prevention of water body siltation. 

Geosheet pile «ТЕХПОЛИМЕР» is a profiled PVC sheet pile with interlocks that vertically connect one profile to another to create a “wall in the ground” that prevents the riverbank from being washed away by incoming water flows. 

The bank of the Moksha River has a steep slope and high soil pressure on the sheet pile wall, so terracing of the slope and anchoring were selected as the solution. Anchor rods support the sheet pile wall, while terracing provides a high erosion-control effect.
