Drainage Ditch Reinforcement

Collection, retention and drainage of water from the road pavement surface to prevent its deterioration. 

Construction of a roadside drainage ditch using ТехПолимер concrete canvas as a reinforcement material.

The material is impregnated with a dry concrete mix that hardens when wetted, forming a strong, reinforced, watertight concrete layer of the required shape.  The concrete canvas performs effectively under conditions of significant temperature fluctuations and in hard-to-reach areas.

Problems addressed by the concrete canvas: 

• Reduced strength of the road pavement 
• Reduced stability of the road embankment 
• Shortened periods between repairs 
• Reduced safety and driving comfort for vehicles 
   

• Elimination of water infiltration into foundation soils and their saturation, which reduces their physical and mechanical properties 
• Prevention of permafrost thawing caused by seasonal waterlogging of soils 
• Prevention of water erosion
