Installation of edge drainage channels made of Concrete Canvas on a section of the R-258 “Baikal” highway

Prevent wastewater from the road from entering the coastal protection zone of Lake Baikal

In accordance with the requirements, water is drained from the carriageway through edge gutters made of flexible roll material - concrete canvas, with wastewater discharged into the ditch system and water directed to lower areas of the terrain.

After curing, the concrete mixture in the material provides its waterproofing properties

• Strength

The fibres of the fabric matrix reinforce the cured concrete mixture, preventing the material from cracking

• Durability

The concrete canvas is resistant to chemicals, ultraviolet radiation and temperature fluctuations

• Flexibility

Follows the shape of the base on which it is installed, allows sharp bends, and is easy to fold and cut
