From 22 to 27 August, TechPolymer Group will take part in the International Military-Technical Forum “Army 2017” at the Patriot Convention and Exhibition Centre in the Moscow Region—the largest exhibition of weapons, military and special-purpose equipment in Russia.
The event will bring together more than 1,000 defence-industry enterprises from Russia and other countries. The Russian Ministry of Defence will present examples of all types of weapons and military equipment in an open area of 120,000 m2.
As part of the exhibition, TechPolymer Group specialists will demonstrate mobile road surfaces specially designed for use in the defence, oil and gas, energy and mining industries, as well as for disaster relief operations.
TechPolymer mobile road surfaces are used for the rapid construction of temporary access roads for tracked and wheeled vehicles, as well as for creating temporary platforms, including helicopter landing pads. They consist of high-molecular-weight polyethylene panels with a honeycomb internal structure that provides positive buoyancy to the surface.
Mobile road surfaces can be installed on any surface, including clay, sand, snow and ice, and can be used on any terrain and in any climatic conditions, even the most severe. This is highly relevant for the rapid deployment of military equipment and personnel.
