One of the largest events in the waste management sector will take place in Samara from 20 to 22 May. It will start this Thursday, 20 May. Representatives from 70 regions will participate in the V Congress of the Clean Country Association.
The Association of Waste Management Industry Operators «Clean Country» will welcome around 400 delegates from 70 regions of Russia, 100 of whom will represent public authorities. Regional operators, international manufacturers of municipal equipment and waste disposal companies will participate in the event.
This year's congress programme is scheduled to run for three days and will focus on the interim results of the municipal solid waste management reform. The organisers plan to devote particular attention during the strategic sessions to the digitalisation of the sector, tariff regulation, government support measures and the development of environmental awareness in Russia.
