The international “Forests of Russia” Forum has concluded in Krasnoyarsk. The event was held for the first time. More than 600 participants from 70 regions of Russia, as well as delegations from the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics, India, Armenia, Kazakhstan and Belarus, came to the regional capital to discuss the prospects for developing the forestry industry. The Forum was attended by representatives of the government and regions of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, Rosleskhoz, as well as representatives of regional forestry authorities, the scientific community and public organisations.
Krasnoyarsk Krai is one of the country’s leading regions in terms of forest area, forest regeneration and timber harvesting volumes, production of sawn timber and pellets, and the implementation of modern technologies and digitalisation in the industry. For this reason, the federal authorities chose Krasnoyarsk as the venue for dialogue on the achievements and challenges of the forestry industry and for defining its development priorities.
Alongside the Forum, the Expodrev exhibition was held at the same venue from 21 to 23 September 2022. At the exhibition, TechPolymer presented its solutions for the forestry industry – mobile road surfaces. The exhibits were displayed in both outdoor and indoor areas, enabling Forum and exhibition participants to examine the mobile road plates and reliable interlocking connections, as well as ask questions to a TechPolymer specialist.
