During this June weekend, residents of Divnogorsk celebrated two occasions at once—the city’s 60th anniversary and Russia Day.

As the city-forming enterprise, ТЕХПОЛИМЕР sponsored the celebration. Divnogorsk is where the Company’s history began in 1994.

The first production line was launched in 1997. From a modest enterprise with only three key workshops and two product lines in 2000, the Divnogorsk production site of ТЕХПОЛИМЕР has developed into a modern plant with the status of an industrial park and a city-forming enterprise.
Today, ТЕХПОЛИМЕР includes:
- 5 geosynthetics production sites in Russia;
- more than 25 years on the market;
- more than 2,000 full-time employees across the Group of Companies;
- its own accredited quality control laboratory;
- its own engineering centre for developing world-class geosynthetics;
- a supplier of its own products to Russia’s largest companies: Nornickel, ALROSA, Gazprom, Polyus, Vankorneft, RUSAL, UGMK, Rosatom, RosRAO, Russian Railways, Miratorg, Avtodor and others.
ТЕХПОЛИМЕР products are used in flagship federal and national projects of the Russian Federation.
For example, the Divnogorsk plant produces the Hydromat drainage geocomposite mat and the RD reinforcing road geogrid with an internal steel spring for sections of the M12 federal highway. This high-speed motorway is more than 800 km long and forms part of the Europe–Western China international transport route.
At the ТЕХПОЛИМЕР plant, large-scale containers for dewatering sludge—Geotubes—are also manufactured for the reclamation of sludge beds at biological wastewater treatment facilities in Kazan. This pilot project, unique in Russia, is being implemented under the Clean Volga federal project of the Ecology national project.
The implementation of the Clean Country priority project of the Ecology national project, including the elimination of sites with accumulated environmental damage, also involved the use of ТЕХПОЛИМЕР geosynthetics. The Company’s materials were used, among other applications, for the reclamation of a landfill in Chelyabinsk, considered the largest in Europe; Ingushetia’s largest municipal solid waste landfill in Malgobek; and a waste landfill in Sudak, Republic of Crimea.
