Specialists from TechPolymer Group participated in the conference “Ensuring the Safety and Reliability of Navigable Hydraulic Structures,” held on 20–22 September in Krasnoyarsk, and presented the paper “Application of Geoshpunt in the construction and reconstruction of berthing and bank protection structures.”
Geoshpunt is a lighter and more durable alternative to Larssen sheet piling and is manufactured from PVC by extrusion. One possible application of this material is bank protection and the construction of berthing structures.
Leading specialists from the Russian Ministry of Transport, Rostransnadzor, Rosmorrechflot, administrations of inland waterways basins (ABVVP), and research and design organisations also delivered papers at the conference.
