Work is underway at the «Parfenovo» landfill to install the «Gidroks» geosynthetic material (СТО 56910145-032-2019)
The material sheets are joined using hot-air equipment under pressure, allowing subsequent field testing of the welded joint for leak tightness.
The use of «Gidroks» reduces material installation costs due to its increased width (5 metres) and reduces the thickness of the drainage layer compared with traditional solutions made from discrete materials.
In addition, the material has high ultimate strength and puncture resistance.
Applications of the material:
• Drainage in the structures of motorways and railways, tunnels and underground structures
• Combined waterproofing and drainage layer of MSW and industrial waste landfills
• Capillary-break layer
• Drainage provision in the construction of retaining walls
