On 12 April 2016, specialists from TechPolymer Group of Companies delivered a presentation entitled «Applications of Geocomposite Materials to Extend Maintenance Intervals» at a scientific and practical seminar held at the Federal Road Administration “Zabaikalye”.
More than 40 representatives of design and contracting organisations carrying out work on the road network under its authority attended the event. The seminar speakers, including specialists from TechPolymer Group of Companies, discussed the latest materials for the construction and repair of structures, the use of geosynthetic materials, and modern methods for stabilising roadbeds in permafrost regions.
Representatives of the Administration also took part in discussions on issues arising during the preparation of design and cost-estimate documentation and construction supervision at major repair sites. They also answered questions from attendees about the implementation of the Technical Regulations of the Customs Union «Safety of Highways».
