On 21 April 2021, leading specialists from the state-owned company «Avtodor» visited the production site of the «Techpolymer» Group - the plant in Uzlovaya, Tula Region.
The facility in Tula Region produces a full range of geosynthetic materials for road construction: geomodules and geofabric for soil stabilisation, geogrids for reinforcing the road base and pavement, as well as geocomat for slope reinforcement. The facility’s production capacity exceeds 1 million square metres of material per month.
During the visit, the participants discussed cooperation prospects and reviewed the facility’s integrated solutions for road construction.
Specialists from the «Techpolymer» Group demonstrated all stages of production to representatives of «Avtodor», showed them the facility’s laboratory, where material quality is controlled, and introduced the visitors to a new product - the «Armoset б/б» reinforcing geogrid. This material contains polyester threads and a BND bitumen layer, which makes it possible to reduce costs for preparatory work (binder spraying and special equipment operation) and for fastening the geogrid to asphalt concrete.
