Tomorrow, TECHPOLYMER Group will present its own developments for the road sector at the 11th International Specialised Exhibition “Road 2024”.
TECHPOLYMER geosynthetic materials and design solutions are developed by the company’s engineering centre specialists and are successfully used in the construction, reconstruction and repair of public roads, industrial and agricultural enterprise roads, temporary roads, railways, access roads and car parks.
TECHPOLYMER developments are designed to address the most common problems encountered in road construction:
- flood-prone areas;
- permafrost subgrades;
- heaving subgrade soils;
- weak subgrade soils (type I–III swamps, collapsible soils);
- high groundwater levels;
- karst formation;
- ice lens formation;
- failure of retaining walls;
- erosion of embankment and cut slopes.
The TECHPOLYMER stand will feature samples of manufactured materials for addressing industry challenges such as the reinforcement of structures and soil masses, landslide protection for slopes, bank protection, waterproofing, concrete protection and extending maintenance intervals for water conveyance structures, accelerating the consolidation of water-saturated subgrade soils, water removal and drainage.
In addition, the exhibition will feature 3D models of tanks for water storage, drainage and infiltration into the ground.
