Abstract. An innovative technology for the repair and protection of water-conveyance pipes based on the use of a polymer protective sleeve is presented. The advantages of the technology, as well as the requirements and procedure for its application, are outlined.
The technology «ПайпАрм», developed by specialists of the Russian TECHPOLYMER Group, makes it possible to restore water-conveyance pipes, extend the service life of structures by up to 50 years, eliminate existing defects and prevent new ones, including: failure of joints between sections, corrosion and destruction of the protective concrete layer, exposure and corrosion of reinforcement, formation and propagation of longitudinal and transverse cracks, settlement and separation of sections.
