Task: Construction of sludge pits in permafrost conditions, with no sand available for traditional «sand cushions». The risk of toxic drilling products entering the soil had to be eliminated.
Solution: A multilayer protective liner using the «Hydromat 3D» drainage mat and geomembrane. «Hydromat» acted as a buffer, compensating for unevenness in the subgrade and protecting the membrane from punctures.
