An article on the application of the “PipeArm” technology for the major repair of a water-conveyance hydraulic structure was published in the September issue of the technical journal “Gidrotekhnika”.
The “PipeArm” technology makes it possible to address damage to the joints between sections, reinforcement cages and the protective concrete layer of existing structures. In addition, this restoration method ensures complete watertightness of the structure’s internal surface, thereby increasing its corrosion resistance
The advantages of the “PipeArm” technology were demonstrated using the major repair of the culvert pipe of the flood spillway at a hydraulic structure at a pond on the Chesnokovka River in the Kemerovo Municipal District as an example.
