18–20 May 2022, in Svetlogorsk, Kaliningrad Region, the Clean Country Association of organisations, operators and specialists in the field of waste management, with the support of the Russian Ministry of Natural Resources, held the 6th Congress of Regional Operators in the Field of Municipal Solid Waste Management.
Representatives of TechPolymer Group traditionally took part in this important industry event, which focused on developing a sustainable, efficient and high-tech municipal solid waste management market. In addition to manufacturing a wide range of geosynthetic materials, TechPolymer develops integrated technical solutions for the construction of environmental protection facilities, including municipal solid waste landfills, and also offers a range of plastic containers for waste sorting and collection.
Leading companies in the industry presented their projects. In total, the Congress was attended by more than 250 delegates from 70 constituent entities of the Russian Federation.
This year, the event programme focused on the prospects for the long-term development of the municipal solid waste management industry amid a challenging economic situation, government support measures, risk management, tariff regulation and antimonopoly control.
