We continue to monitor the work at landfills where TechPolymer geosynthetics are used for remediation.
At the landfill in the Kalininsky District of the Tver Region, the most complex stage of remediation is currently underway. The technical stage includes the development of technological and construction measures and design solutions for installing protective barriers for the landfill base and surface, as well as collecting, treating, and utilizing landfill gas.
The builders are constructing the reinforcement frame of a reservoir for collecting and treating leachate and surface runoff. A polymer anchor sheet V-lock is used to install the formwork for the leachate collection reservoir. Welding the polymer sheet creates a completely leak-tight reservoir that is resistant to the aggressive effects of leachate and protects the environment from contamination by hazardous substances.
