On 20 August, Acting Governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Viktor Tolokonsky visited the TechPolymer plant on a working visit.
Tolokonsky visited the production facilities, where he reviewed the company’s wide range of geosynthetic materials: geomembranes, road geogrids, drainage mats and reinforcement meshes, as well as the company’s laboratory, where product quality is directly controlled.
The Acting Governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory supported the company management’s plans to expand production.
"We must stimulate demand for TechPolymer products. I am ready to approach federal agencies with a presentation of your products so that they can be included in the list of GOST-compliant goods. You must reach a new level of product sales and supply your materials for the construction of the country’s largest and strategically important facilities. The region also needs your products. They can be used in the construction of road sections on unstable ground. There are many such areas in our region", – said Viktor Tolokonsky.
Viktor Alexandrovich proposed establishing a research laboratory at the facility, where SFU researchers and company specialists could exchange experience and improve the quality of the products manufactured:
"We will decide to establish here, with the involvement of researchers from several of our universities, primarily SFU, either an interdepartmental department or a special laboratory to provide scientific support for the entire technological cycle".
