The use of an anchor sheet in road construction opens up new opportunities, significantly extending the service life of a parapet-block barrier and reducing maintenance costs.

Parapet blocks are concrete elements installed on road shoulders and central reservations to create a barrier. However, reinforced-concrete parapet blocks are often exposed to the aggressive effects of salts and other de-icing agents used during winter. During snowmelt and rainfall, these substances penetrate the concrete structure, causing corrosion and deterioration.
Lining a parapet block with V-LOCK anchor sheet, manufactured in accordance with ТУ 2246-003-56910145-2014, protects concrete surfaces from chemical agents, abrasive wear and corrosion.

Factory production of a New Jersey-type parapet barrier using V-LOCK anchor sheet provides a number of advantages:
- the option of manufacturing to individual dimensions;
- combining the production of high-quality reinforced-concrete products with anchor-sheet lining under factory conditions;
- a significant reduction in the costs of maintaining and repairing structures;
- increased intervals between repairs and an extended service life of the structure;
- high aesthetic appeal;
- the option of producing the barrier in various signal colours and adding reflective elements to the structure, increasing road safety;
- resistance to the aggressive effects of salts and other de-icing agents that can destroy the concrete structure.
