31 March – 1 April, in Moscow, as part of the XIII International Scientific and Technical Conference «Current Issues in the Design, Construction and Operation of Railway Tracks», specialists from TechPolymer Group presented samples of geosynthetic materials for railway construction manufactured by the company, including: Hydromat, Volumetric Geogrid, RD Geogrid, SD Geogrid and woven geotextile - Stabigrunt.
The conference was held at the Institute of Railway Track, Construction and Structures of the Moscow State University of Railway Engineering (MSURE MIIT) and was organised by the institution together with Russian Railways.
The event focused on issues related to the construction and operation of the railway superstructure in challenging engineering and geological conditions, as well as the construction and maintenance of railway tracks for heavy-haul transport. Therefore, the geosynthetic materials presented by TechPolymer Group were considered by industry specialists to be a relevant solution to the engineering challenges addressed.
